Delete Your Monk Account

This page explains how users of Monk, published by Monk AI Labs Inc., can request deletion of their account and associated personal data. Monk accounts are created through OAuth sign-in (Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google).
How to Delete Your Account in the App
The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the Monk app:
- Open the Monk app on your device.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Once confirmed, your account deletion request is processed and your personal data is permanently removed from our systems, except where retention is required by law (see below).
Can't Access the App?
If you cannot sign in or no longer have the app installed, email us from the address linked to your Monk account:

Include the email address associated with your Monk account (Apple ID or Google account). We will verify ownership and process your deletion request.
What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your Monk account, we permanently remove the following from our systems:
- Firebase authentication account and user ID
- Profile and onboarding information (name, age range, timezone, preferences)
- Habit selections, timer sessions, and completion logs
- Monk Coin wallet balance and coin ledger history
- Scroll unlock session records and usage summaries
- Stats and Listen tab preferences
- Referral codes, links, and referral counts
- Push notification device tokens
- Subscription status stored on your Monk account
Quick Coin photos are not retained on our servers. They are deleted from cloud storage immediately after automated verification completes, whether verification succeeds or fails.
What Data May Be Kept

| Anonymized analytics and crash logs | May be retained in aggregated or de-identified form through services such as Mixpanel, Firebase Analytics, and Crashlytics. These records are not linked to your account after deletion. |
| Data required by law | We may retain limited information where required by applicable law, regulation, or legal process. |
Data Stored on Your Device
Some data (such as app blocking state) is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the Monk app removes locally stored data from your device. Account deletion removes all synced cloud data associated with your account.
Deletion Timeline
Account deletion is generally completed within 30 days of your request. In most cases, deletion happens much sooner. If you contact us by email, we will confirm when your deletion has been processed.
Active Subscriptions
Deleting your Monk account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. If you have Monk Pro, cancel your subscription through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings before or after deleting your account to avoid future charges.
